Underwriter Opportunity
As an Underwriter, you will play a vital role in assessing applications for Life and Serious Illness products. Your primary responsibilities will include making timely and accurate decisions that align with the company's underwriting and claims guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Making accurate and timely decisions that meet company standards.
2. Resolving any challenges to decisions by clearly explaining the reasoning behind them.
3. Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including customers and advisers.
4. Promoting quality within the team by identifying errors and analyzing root causes to prevent recurrence.
5. Supporting continuous improvement within the team.
6. Maintaining a positive and proactive attitude at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Fluency in written and spoken German is essential.
2. You should have experience in underwriting or risk claims, or a medical qualification such as nursing.
3. A relevant business or industry qualification, or a medical degree, would be beneficial.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
5. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
