Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Salary: €76,202 pa (additional arrangement may apply for serving civil or public servants)

Role ProfileWe have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager in the IT Department which is part of the Corporate Services Directorate. The IT Department provides support across all aspects of SEAI operations, with teams focused on a number of areas: IT Project and Business System Programmes (PMO), Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, IT Operations including IT Helpdesk, IT Governance, IT Change Management, and Cyber and Information Security. Reporting to the Programme Manager - IT Operations (with a dotted line to the Chief Information Officer) the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for project managing 3rd party vendors in delivering technical IT infrastructure projects and supporting the implementation of infrastructure elements of software projects both in the cloud and on-prem. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI's ambitious ICT Strategy and customer centric digital services.
Essential Requirements
A degree (a minimum of NFQ Level 8 or greater) or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as IT, Computer Science, Project Management or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years directly relevant experience project managing the delivery of IT Infrastructure and Cyber projects (a master's degree may account for 1 year(s)’ experience).
Experience in delivery within an ICT multi-vendor model, and management of vendors interdependencies.
Experience in stakeholder management involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders with complex interdependencies.
Relevant professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. ClickUp).
Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall), with the ability to embed principles into the delivery process.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to communicate complex business and technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Requirements
Experience in delivering Microsoft based systems.
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience of ISO27001.
Familiarity with SQL and creating visualisations with BI Platforms.
Solid understanding of ITIL process framework including incident, problem, change, release and capacity management.
Experience with cloud cost management tools and platforms.
Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices to ensure a secure and compliant cloud infrastructure.
Experience in delivering large integrated systems.
Knowledge/Experience of working in the Public Sector.
Proficiency in the Irish language.
Experience or knowledge of delivering positive customer experiences.
Eligibility to Work
