Job Description
1. Quality Assurance & Control – Develop, implement, and oversee quality control systems for electrical components and systems used in Air Handling Units (AHUs) and other HVAC products. Conduct detailed inspections and testing of electrical assemblies to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations (IEC, NEC, UL, ISO, etc.). Verify wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and control panels against approved design documentation. Perform incoming inspections of electrical materials (relays, contactors, sensors, cables, etc.) and ensure supplier quality adherence. Execute final inspections and functional tests—including power‑up, continuity, grounding, and insulation resistance checks—prior to dispatch. Identify and document non‑conformities, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
2. Documentation and Reporting – Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records, test reports, and QA documentation in alignment with audit and compliance requirements. Prepare and support the submission of quality‑related documentation for internal reviews and customer audits. Regularly update inspection standards, work instructions, and quality procedures to reflect the latest practices and findings.
3. Compliance & Safety – Ensure all quality assurance activities adhere to relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and workplace regulations. Participate in internal and external audits, assisting in the implementation and follow‑up of corrective actions. Promote and support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives across the production and testing facilities.
4. Technical Support and Collaboration – Collaborate closely with production teams, design engineers, and R&D departments to resolve quality issues and optimise manufacturing processes. Provide structured feedback to engineering teams for design and product improvements. Offer hands‑on technical support for troubleshooting electrical problems during manufacturing or final testing.
5. Software & Tools Utilization – Operate electrical testing equipment and software tools (multimeters, continuity testers, PLC diagnostic tools, etc.) for comprehensive inspection and validation. Utilize Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ERP platforms to record inspection data, manage non‑conformities, and track performance metrics. Perform configuration or programming validation on control systems, VFDs, PLCs, and BMS interfaces when required.
6. Continuous Development & Learning – Stay informed of emerging trends in electrical quality control, testing technologies, and regulatory standards. Adopt modern software and digital tools for design review, test automation, and digital twin simulations. Engage in professional training on advanced electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), QA/QC systems (SAP QM, ETQ), and smart manufacturing platforms. Contribute to digital transformation projects—such as IoT‑based monitoring systems.
