A Public Sector client is currently recruiting for a Facilities Managerto join their Capital & Estates Department in South Dublin.
This is an initial agency 1-year contract role which offers great scope for extension.

Key experience/skills:
8. Lead the day-to-day delivery of Facility Management (FM) services across a range of sites.
9. Prepare and manage annual budgets, service charges, and financial reports.
10. Ensure statutory compliance and best practice in property management.
11. Manage in-house and outsourced teams to deliver services in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
12. Proven experience managing FM contracts and leading operational teams.
13. Strong understanding of technical FM systems (HVAC, M&E, BMS, Fire Protection).
14. Oversee planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive maintenance needs.
15. Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements.
16. Drive financial performance, manage budgets, and optimise operational expenditure.
17. Be familiar with Public Sector Procurement rules.
18. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and service partners.
19. Manage project works including fitout, equipment upgrades, and asset replacements.
20. Be a key member of the Emergency Response and Business Continuity teams.
Key qualifications:
21. An honours degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
22. Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IPFMA, SCSI, IEI etc).
23. Proven experience in Property & Facilities Management (minimum 3–5 years).
24. Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and service charge management.
