Job Description:
This position focuses on optimising manufacturing processes for high-volume, automated contact lens production.
A key responsibility will be to drive continuous improvement using data-based approaches.
* Identify and correct line detractors impacting day-to-day operations.
* Develop and implement solutions to optimise equipment performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall process efficiency.
* Support strategic initiatives for site expansion and capacity growth.
* Provide technical training to operational personnel as needed.
* Own, track, and report on safety, quality, and operational metrics.
* Design and execute process engineering studies and protocols.
Requirements:
* Strong background in process engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
* Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements within a regulated environment.
* Lean/Six Sigma and/or project management certification is an asset.
Key Qualifications:
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience with process mapping and value stream analysis.
* Knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
