We’re now recruiting an Integrated Healthcare Clinical Lead to design, guide and champion how members access care across all touchpoints; making care simpler, smarter and more connected.
This is a high-impact clinical leadership role for someone who wants to influence population health outcomes, pathway design, clinical governance and care coordination across Ireland’s fastest-growing health & wellbeing provider.
What you’ll do
Clinical & Service Design
Lead the design of evidence-based, integrated models of care across primary care, urgent care, diagnostics, out-of-hospital services and chronic disease management.
Build care pathways and targeted prevention programmes with strategic provider partners.
Embed clinical governance, research and outcomes into service and proposition development.
Champion digital-first, connected healthcare and reduce unnecessary variation in care.
Integrated Healthcare Strategy
Contribute to the design of the Laya Health Services strategy and Integrated Healthcare framework.
Ensure seamless coordination across the laya ecosystem and preferred provider network.
Support alignment between clinical services and wider insurance strategy to enhance value and affordability for members.
Care Coordination & Partner Integration
Lead care coordination initiatives across Customer Care, Digital, Healthcare Concierge and clinical partners.
Drive increased utilisation of the laya ecosystem and preferred provider network.
Manage reporting aligned with the AXA Health Services strategy.
Support partners in embedding laya CX Principles through training and continuous improvement.
Leadership, Governance & Collaboration
Act as clinical leader, mentor and role model for Health Services and the wider organisation.
Ensure robust systems for clinical risk identification, escalation and mitigation.
Advocate for members within the organisation.
Foster strong multidisciplinary collaboration across internal and external teams.
What you’ll bring
Essential
Registered Medical Doctor with the Irish Medical Council.
5+ years post-registration experience.
Experience working across multi-professional, multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, processes and care pathways.
Demonstrated advanced clinical practice (assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing and referral).
Proven clinical leadership in a multidisciplinary environment.
Commitment to ongoing CPD.
Desirable
Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (General Practice preferred).
2+ years in primary care, pathway design or care coordination.
Experience providing clinical advice to a health insurer.
Postgraduate qualification in Leadership, Management, Clinical Governance or Education.
Training in Quality Improvement, Audit or Patient Safety.
Experience in clinical education, mentorship or supervision.
Understanding of value-based healthcare and PROMs.
