Chill's sister companies include Quote Devil Insurance, an insurance intermediary, and Ivernia Insurance Ltd, an MGA insurer. The finance team supports all three businesses and the consolidated Three Rock Group parent entities. This role will support the entire group.
About The Role
Chill is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Manager for a 12-month contract to support growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, responsibilities include commercial finance analysis, financial and management reporting, financial control activities, and supporting ad hoc financial projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of financial reports and monthly management accounts with accuracy and supporting details.
* Lead the Finance team through the annual Financial Audit process.
* Improve finance process efficiency, control, and rigor; lead or assist in finance and business projects.
* Support budget and forecast preparation for the Group, including Board deliverables.
* Prepare Monthly Board reports with detailed business performance analysis.
* Generate special financial reports as requested by management, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
* Continuously review business drivers to add value.
* Collaborate with managers to maintain and develop KPIs.
* Ensure tax compliance and timely filings across entities; act as lead contact for external auditors.
* Manage the finance team responsible for accounting, financial, and administrative tasks.
* Undertake other relevant duties as required.
Minimum Skills and Experience
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CGMA) with management experience, responsible for all finance functions.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; able to work at all levels.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Energetic, positive attitude, and drive for continuous improvement.
* Flexible work ethic and commitment.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Experience in a fast-paced, Excel-based finance environment.
