(Hybrid 1 day per week in office - County Louth) The Role: Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, ensuring best coding practices and quality standards. Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance PHP applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions. Review and optimise existing codebases for performance and maintainability. Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency. Manage deployments and ensure smooth CI/CD processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. The Person: Extensive experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and modern libraries. Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and writing efficient queries. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide developers.
