Public Health Nurse Position
Our organization seeks an experienced Public Health Nurse to provide essential health services to students and staff in our West Galway/Connemara Schools Network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Health Education and Support: The successful candidate will provide education and support to promote healthy lifestyles among students and staff.
* School Health Planning: The nurse will develop and implement comprehensive school health plans, ensuring the well-being of the entire school community.
* Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, schools, and community groups to deliver high-quality health services.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working in a school setting and possess excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and think critically is also required.
Working Hours and Conditions:
The role requires 2 days/15hrs per week, Monday to Friday, and involves immediate start.
