1-year contract, hybrid remote: 3x days per week onsite in Swords.
Overview Driving a major digital transformation program to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency through innovative web and mobile solutions.
This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining high-performance, user-centric web applications that support Dublin Airports growth strategy, ensuring seamless digital interactions for customers and staff.
The Scrum Master will play a key role in the delivery of this programme of work, working closely with the Programme Manager.
The Scrum Master will have a strong focus on facilitating collaboration between technical and business teams, ensuring iterative progress, and removing obstacles to delivery.
Key Responsibilities Facilitating all Agile ceremonies, incl.
sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to keep the teams aligned & on track.
Maintain relevant metrics that report on progress (e.g., burndown charts, defect trends, user story/feature completion rates, capacity, velocity) Work alongside the business owner and relevant stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve potential challenges before they arise Supporting and enabling the team by managing backlogs, refining user stories, and ensuring priorities are clear to drive successful sprint outcomes, in line with the Programme objectives Anticipating and resolving obstacles that hinder progress, enabling the team to focus on their goals and deliver value consistently Foster internal team communication by building a trusting and safe environment where the emphasis is on problem-solving.
Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Supports the Programme Manager in the delivery of the programme, ensuring transparency of progress, risks, and dependencies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience At least 3 years experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in a complex technical environment, helping development teams apply Agile, Scrum/SAFe & Dev Sec Ops practices.
Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in proactively identifying and removing roadblocks to help teams maintain and enhance momentum.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to lead Agile ceremonies and track progress metrics (i.e., burndown charts, velocity, and user story completion rates).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust within teams and facilitate effective collaboration between team members and stakeholders across the business.
Ability to effectively facilitate and coordinate delivery across a mix of internal teams and onshore and offshore partners, ensuring strong collaboration, alignment, and consistent ways of working.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical environments.
Self-driven and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to outcomes.
Experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
Degree/Diploma/Certification in Computer Science, Science, Business, or relevant experience.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification required.
