A+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the healthcare manufacturing sector to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a global leader with a strong footprint in Ireland.
Location: Cootehill, County Cavan
Type: Full-time | 18-Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead month-end reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
* Provide detailed cost and BOM analysis for new products and plant expansion opportunities
* Support standard cost setting and absorption projections, including milk and protein analysis
* Partner with operations to review material usage variances and support continuous improvement
* Coordinate internal and external audit requirements, including SOX compliance
* Support S&OP reviews and assist in annual stocktakes and reconciliations
* Represent finance on cross-functional projects including NPI, process trials, and CAPEX evaluations
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* At least 3 years' experience in cost accounting
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with standard costing, inventory systems, and SAP or similar ERP systems
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
