About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Manufacturing Team Lead to support day-to-day operations on the Day Shift.
This role is critical in ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will lead a team of operators, drive performance, support problem‑solving, and maintain a positive, collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and motivate a team of manufacturing operators to meet daily production targets.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor performance throughout the shift.
Support training and onboarding of new employees.
Conduct tier meetings, daily stand‑ups, and performance updates.
Escalate issues related to quality, safety, or equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
Complete required documentation and ensure accurate reporting of production data.
Drive continuous improvement activities and contribute to process enhancements.
Promote a positive, respectful, and solutions‑focused team culture.
Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Demonstrated leadership ability or experience in a Lead/Acting Lead role is an advantage.
Strong understanding of quality systems, safety protocols, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Flexibility and willingness to support business needs as required.
