Up to €40,000 Stable, long-term role within a respected local organisation Supportive management and committee structure Opportunity to put your own stamp on bar operations and service standards Work-life balance compared to late-night city-centre venues A positive, community-driven working environment Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operation of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver consistently high standards Manage stock control, ordering, wastage, and supplier relationships Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food safety standards Handle cash management, tills, and basic financial reporting Coordinate bar operations for match days, events, and private functions Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer care Work closely with club management to improve service, sales, and member experience Key Requirements Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or Senior Supervisor Strong knowledge of bar operations, stock control, and licensing requirements Proven ability to manage and motivate a team Excellent customer service and communication skills Organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a hands-on role Experience in a sports club, social club, hotel bar, or busy pub is highly advantageous Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, particularly around events and fixtures Skills: Team Managemenr/ Organisation/ Time management
