Job Description
The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) seeks a Grid Delivery Manager. Responsibilities include delivering large‑scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines; managing stakeholder relationships and weekly reporting on project risks to senior leadership; driving the delivery program, standardizing processes, developing tools, and supporting financial budgeting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus.
5+ years of experience building power substations, working with utilities, and delivering HV/MV infrastructure projects from design to energization.
Experience prioritizing needs, delivering measurable results in an agile environment.
Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
Experience analyzing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a strategic portfolio and understanding how to transact business in multiple cultural contexts; managing international teams is a plus.
Ability to communicate in additional languages (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA/MS) and/or PMP certification.
Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure.
Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
Experience working with utilities and energy regulators.
