Hadfield Green is looking to recruit a Product Security Engineer on a contract basis for an exciting opportunity at the intersection of software, security and regulated product development.
This is a strong role for someone who enjoys embedding secure‑by‑design thinking across the SDLC, partnering with engineering and quality teams and leading on security risk assessments, vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices.
Responsibilities
Embedding security requirements into the SDLC
Leading product security risk assessments and vulnerability remediation
Supporting secure coding, threat modelling, and security architecture reviews
Working in a regulated QMS environment with strong cross‑functional collaboration
Qualifications
Experience in IT security architecture and secure software development
Strong knowledge of OWASP, NIST SP 800‑53, and secure coding standards
Exposure to vulnerability scanning, static/dynamic analysis, and remediation
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
