Location: Remote (Ireland-based)

Salary: €70,000-€80,000 DOE
The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll bridge the gap between business vision and technical delivery - collaborating with clients, engineers, and product teams to turn complex challenges into structured, scalable solutions.
You'll play a hands-on role in requirements gathering, backlog management, and client workshops, ensuring solutions are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable value. This position suits someone who thrives on problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
2. Develop and maintain detailed backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira or Azure DevOps.
3. Facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions to elicit and refine requirements.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution design aligns with business outcomes.
5. Lead backlog refinement, roadmap planning, and sprint review sessions.
6. Produce flow diagrams, user journey maps, and wireframes to communicate system functionality.
7. Support UAT, helping ensure high-quality, user-focused deliverables.
8. Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices across teams.
Requirements
9. 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within software or digital delivery environments.
10. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC.
11. Proven experience defining and managing product backlogs and user stories.
12. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Figma.
14. Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement.
15. Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing workshops and presentations.
16. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
