Role
* The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of complex projects across multiple domains of the bank.
Responsibilities
* Manage full life cycle of project management (planning, documentation, scheduling and financial tracking).
* Drive the delivery of IT solutions to agreed scope, cost and timeline – overseeing and tracking progress to ensure project success.
* Organise and document weekly project meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Define/Refresh the delivery roadmap for the Project, agreeing the stakeholders.
* Primary contact for any escalation for project related matters.
* Clear and consistent communication on task and project status.
* Focus on lessons learned and continuously review and improve processes.
* Adhere to best practices and standards in project execution.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven success in the management and delivery of complex projects within budget and specified timeframes (preferably within the financial services industry).
* Highly adaptable and able to influence key stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Quality focused with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a drive and commitment towards project delivery.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform project tasks effectively, while managing time and priorities.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Strong knowledge of the software development cycle.
* Experience in engagement with and management of third parties.
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum of 8 years project management experience.
* Educated to degree level, or relevant experience to demonstrate competency.
* PMP certified or equivalent project management certification preferred.
* Experience working in a financial services or banking environment is an advantage.
