Buskers Bar Dublin is seeking a Waiter / Waitress to join the team in our vibrant city-centre bar, part of the four-star Temple Bar Hotel.
You will report to the Restaurant & Bar Manager, supporting and working towards providing our customers with excellent service, working as a team with your colleagues, and maintaining the health, safety, and cleanliness of the bar and restaurant areas at all times.
A Waiter / Waitress Will Be Responsible For
* Adhering to all safe working practices and procedures in operation within the bar and restaurant at all times.
* Following all service standards expected and exceeding customer expectations at all times.
* Ensuring that customers are offered the highest quality standards of service and care, anticipating their needs and being attentive at all times.
* Promoting sales within the department at all times and upselling where possible.
* Taking responsibility for the dining and lounge areas and reporting any issues to the Supervisor or Manager immediately.
* Ensuring that all service stations are stocked, clean, and well-organized throughout service.
* Ensuring that all tables are set, served, and cleared in accordance with company standards.
* Ensuring that all procedures in relation to floats, cash handling, and till operation are adhered to at all times as requested by company policy.
* Having an in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including ingredients, allergens, and daily specials, as well as awareness of the hotel's overall facilities.
* Working as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being flexible at all times.
* Attending training sessions as required.
* Attending appraisal and assessment meetings as and when required.
* Complying with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, and Hygiene.
To be successful in the role of Waiter / Waitress, we require:
* Previous experience in a busy bar or restaurant environment.
* A strong understanding of food and beverage service standards.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A team-oriented attitude and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
