Role Overview
Are you a graduate of environmental science (or equivalent degree) seeking to develop your career in a forward-thinking environmental consultancy?
As we continue to grow with high-profile clients, we are looking for an ambitious person with a passion for the environment to join our team of environmental consultants.
We seek an ambitious person who is passionate about the environment to join our Environmental Monitoring Contaminated Land team.
This is a full-time position, based in our Tullamore or Dublin office with hybrid working.

Role Responsibilities
Carry out environmental monitoring across various sites, including soil, groundwater, surface water, leachate, and gas sampling
Collect samples and liaise with external laboratories for analysis, keeping accurate records and chain of custody documentation
Set up and operate monitoring equipment on sites
Analyse data using Excel and other specialist software as required and present results clearly and accurately
Draft technical reports, for example, compliance reports, baseline environmental assessment reports, due diligence reports and input into EIAR chapters, based on pre-set templates
Liaise with and oversee subcontractors' work
Travel around Ireland, with some overnight stays and working outside normal working hours
Required Experience And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. environmental science, applied environmental science, geoscience, geology, or similar).
Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision and be comfortable working alone.
Ability to calculate results accurately and quickly and present data in a logical manner.
Ability to work well within a team environment, supporting other departments when required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially technical writing.
An interest in working in a client-focused consultancy environment, focusing on delivering high-quality services to deadlines.
Full, clean Irish driving license.
Competent in Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, Excel, Sharepoint).
Desired Experience And Qualifications
Internship or work experience in an environmental consultancy
GIS (ArcGIS and/or QGIS) experience.
Current safe pass and manual handling training
Access to your own vehicle
About You
You like working outdoors, occasionally in all weather conditions and can multi-task to deliver work to deadlines.
You will be available to drive to various locations within Ireland on short notice.
Flexible to work on several varied projects with diverse challenges.
Good at managing your workload, paying close attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong teamwork skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and on your own to meet project deadlines and budgets.
