Job Title: Warehouse Manager Reports to: Divisional Logistics Manager Position Summary This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse environment, ensuring that high volumes of customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
You will take ownership of both internal distribution and external logistics partnerships, while leading a team and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.
You will also play an important role in upcoming operational improvements, including the rollout of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and exploring automation initiatives to support business expansion.
Core Responsibilities Take full responsibility for warehouse operations, managing the movement of goods from intake through to final dispatch.
Plan and coordinate deliveries using a combination of company vehicles and third-party logistics providers to meet service level expectations.
Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring a high degree of inventory accuracy through regular checks and effective processes.
Supervise, coach, and develop a warehouse team of around 20 employees, promoting high performance and engagement.
Support the rollout and adoption of new systems and processes, including WMS and automation tools, by delivering training and guidance.
Lead hiring efforts and implement retention initiatives to build a stable, motivated workforce.
Ensure all warehouse activities meet health and safety standards, including proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Work closely with other departments to align warehouse operations with wider business objectives.
Requirements Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced distribution or wholesale setting.
Hands-on involvement in implementing or upgrading warehouse systems, particularly WMS platforms.
Strong technical skills, including familiarity with Excel, ERP systems, and warehouse software.
Experience managing transport logistics across both internal fleets and external providers.

Practical and approachable leadership style, with a willingness to be actively involved in daily operations.
