Our Client is a leading technical specialist distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) products and services. As part of a larger European group, it supports customers by reducing total acquisition costs, improving production efficiency, and lowering working capital requirements. They are looking to attract an Inside Coordinator - Inventory & Procurement to be based on their Customer site in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork. This role involves inventory replenishment, sourcing, order management, supplier coordination and plays a key role in ensuring stock availability and operational efficiency at a client site. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring excellent organizational and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Replenish fast-moving stock items across the customers site.
* Fully support the Site Operations Manager in all tasks.
* Provide accurate quotes for parts/products based on customer requirements.
* Manage and resolve day-to-day customer enquiries; attend client site as needed.
* Source parts and collect from local suppliers when required.
* Handle all administrative duties related to the site support function.
* Deliver a high level of customer service consistently.
* Process and manage customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
* Input purchase orders into site systems and expedite delivery timelines.
* Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP systems.
* Produce regular management and operational reports.
* Liaise with internal product/category teams.
* Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities on-site.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Full Irish Driving License (essential)
* Strong knowledge of MRO and engineering consumables ESSENTIAL
* Sales and customer relationship management skills
* Good negotiation and purchasing experience
* Strong verbal and written communication
* High level of organization and attention to detail
* Knowledge of stock and ERP systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
