They are seeking an experienced investment professional to join a high-performing team focused on the evaluation, management, and optimisation of a diverse portfolio of investments.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to investment decision-making, portfolio oversight, and value creation initiatives across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support investment performance, manage risk, and identify opportunities that drive long-term growth.Main ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee a portfolio of investments, ensuring ongoing monitoring of performance, risk, and strategic objectives.Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation assessments, and scenario modelling to support investment decisions.Prepare investment papers, portfolio reviews, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and investment committees.Monitor market developments, industry trends, and key investment risks to identify opportunities and potential challenges.Assess business performance through the review of financial information, operating metrics, and strategic initiatives.Support transaction execution, portfolio optimisation activities, and investment-related projects as required.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, investors, advisors, and external stakeholders.Contribute to the development of junior team members through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.Support governance, compliance, and risk management processes across the investment portfolio.RequirementsProfessional qualification e.g. CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.Circa 8-10 years experience in investment management, corporate finance, private equity, infrastructure, banking, advisory, or a related field.Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to assess investment opportunities and monitor portfolio performance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Commercially minded with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
