An opportunity for an experienced and qualified accountant to join a multinational Irish Plc as a Senior Group Accountant on a 12-month contract has arisen. This role sits on a high-performing team within an industry-leading Plc and offers a view to permanency as well as internal opportunities for progression.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Preparation and review of the consolidated group reporting outputs;
* Ownership of month end group accounting for assigned areas;
* Business partnering with internal teams including Tax and FP&A;
* Address external and internal audit queries as they arise;
* Assist in the monthly variance analysis and preparation of board reporting packs;
* On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 1 to 5 years PQE.
* Experience in consolidation, intercompany and working in a group environment is preferred.
* Strong communicator, and comfortable dealing with Senior Stakeholders.
* Adaptable to change and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to prioritise work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
