Site Foreman

Beldare Homes Ltd is a leading developer who specialises in new build works and is seeking a Site Manager for an upcoming 60 unit mixed housing and apartment scheme in Wicklow.

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a well-established company working on large-scale projects throughout Ireland.


Role

1. Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
4. Manage the daily whiteboard meeting and two-week look ahead.
5. Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely completion.
6. Implement quality control procedures and ensure adherence to project specifications.
7. Plan and supervise the setup of the site, ensuring necessary facilities are in place before the project launch.
8. Attend weekly Management Team meetings for the Construction Team.
9. Maintain the Site Diary – recording personnel levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
10. Motivate labourers and sub-contractors.
11. Liaise with design teams regarding project requirements and timely requests for information to enable works delivery programme.
12. Work with the project Contracts Manager.


Candidate Requirements

1. You will have a technical and/or trade background, with previous experience on residential projects being essential.
2. 5+ years' experience in the construction industry.
3. Proven track record of delivering projects of the highest quality with an emphasis on safe and efficient construction, including a track record of delivery from start to finish.
4. Knowledge of current building regulations is essential.
5. The ability to read and cross-check construction drawings is vital.
6. Capability to work with utility service providers.

1. Remuneration will be in line with qualifications and experience.
