Job Description
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the design and validation of complex systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge pharmacy automation technologies.
The Senior Systems Engineer will lead the definition, design, and verification of complex systems that integrate electromechanical hardware and software components. This involves deriving product requirements from user needs, developing system specifications, performing risk assessments (such as dFMEA), and executing verification and validation activities.
You will leverage methodologies such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and both Agile and Waterfall development models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, reliability, and quality engineering.
This role also supports transitioning designs from R&D into manufacturing and provides technical expertise for field troubleshooting and quality assurance initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
* A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in systems engineering, medical device design, robotic system design or similar.
Additionally, you will require:
* Demonstrated capability with requirement/specification management.
* Systems integration and testing, Failure Modes Effects Analysis, verification & validation.
* Experimental design, data acquisition, graphical analysis and use of statistical methods for large complex data sets.
* Experience implementing Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies.
* Beta-testing, and/or field implementation of new product launches preferred.
