Job Title: Senior Retail Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the shop manager in achieving optimum profit by maximising sales and controlling direct shop expenses.
* Manage staff and volunteers to ensure the efficient running of the shop.
* Drive sales, control costs, and maintain high standards of merchandising and display.
* Provide excellent customer service and promote best practice within the shop.
* Encourage donations and prepare stock to meet agreed levels.
* Support the Shop Manager in the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers.
* Promote donor sign-ups for Gift Aid and input all Gift Aid donors personal details whilst ensuring data protection and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in retail management or a related field.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with financial software and systems.
