About Your New Job
As a Site Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a large, high-profile fit-out project in the city centre. This project, for a prestigious client, is a fantastic opportunity to lead a specialized team and ensure the fit-out is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Working closely with the Project Manager, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the project.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations on-site, overseeing all construction and fit-out activities.
Coordinate and supervise all tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure the project progresses on time and within budget.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, building regulations, and health and safety protocols.
Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to at all times and enforce safe working procedures.
Provide regular project updates and report any issues or potential delays to the Project Manager.
Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and prompt resolution of any issues.
Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries and resource allocation, to avoid delays and keep the project on track.
Manage the completion of site documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and quality control records.
Mentor and provide support to site staff, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and best practices.

What Skills You Need

Proven experience as a Site Manager in the fit-out or construction industry, with experience leading large, high-profile fit-out projects.
Expertise in managing specialized fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors on‑site effectively.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and industry best practices.
Relevant qualifications or trade qualifications (e.g., degree in construction management, SMSTS, First Aid) and a valid CSCS card are desirable.
