Business Development Manager
This role requires a strategic and results-driven individual to lead our sales team in the cleanroom cleaning business line. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for setting ambitious sales targets, developing top-line budget planning, and ensuring harmonized sales reporting.
Sales Leadership & Strategic Responsibility
- Lead the sales team with a focus on cleanroom cleaning, manage sales targets, and closely coordinate with other business lines.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, as well as derive innovative marketing initiatives, ideally in the Life Sciences sector.
Financial & Project Management
- Manage sales-related projects, lead and conclude framework contracts, and conduct price negotiations, implementation of price increases and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
Customer Management & Contract Negotiations
- Negotiate framework agreements and large-scale projects, personally manage key accounts, identify growth opportunities, and analyse regional market trends.
Employee Leadership & Development
- Manage and develop the sales team, conduct employee reviews and performance evaluations, set goals, and drive personnel development.
Representation & Compliance
- Represent the company at trade fairs and networking events, ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, environmental, and fire protection regulations, and oversee operational policies
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and business acumen, as well as experience in managing an experienced sales team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or a comparable qualification, 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role, and established network in the Life Sciences industry.
