You'll take full ownership of a brownfield IT and security operation, reduce reliance on the MSP, and rebuild a cyber function.This is a fairly unique role, you're not just managing the Microsoft environment (Azure, M365, Intune, Defender), you're also shaping the entire cyber security capability. That means building governance, maturing risk processes, managing vendors, and maintaining ISO 27001. Right now, they're too dependent on their MSP. You'll bring structure, accountability, and control back in-house.You'll have real autonomy, this is a high-impact position with direct visibility at senior leadership level. You'll define the vendor strategy, reduce external dependency, and directly influence how the organisation approaches resilience and risk.The firm is backed by a leading private equity house and moving fast. Your job is to make sure the technology and security posture keep pace.You'll need hands-on experience across the Microsoft stack, and should be comfortable handling both cyber and IT operations, managing the daily rhythm as well as longer-term security projects. Crucially, you'll have ideally worked with MSPs or third-party vendors before, so you understand how to bring capabilities in-house, build internal governance controls, and manage ISO 27001 audits.This is an office based role in Dublin, and paying up to €80k base plus bonus.
