We are partnering with a leading organisation in the manufacturing and industrial products sector to appoint a Commercial Sales Manager.
This is a highly commercial, client-facing role focused on driving revenue growth, developing key accounts, and shaping commercial strategy across a portfolio of strategic customers. You will play a critical role in expanding market share, improving account profitability, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships in a competitive B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and develop a portfolio of strategic B2B accounts, driving revenue growth and margin improvement
Identify and execute commercial opportunities, including upselling, cross-selling, and new business development
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations
Lead account planning and joint business planning initiatives
Analyse commercial performance (revenue, margin, volume) and implement data-driven improvements
Develop and manage pricing strategies, contracts, and commercial agreements
Track and report on KPIs, SLAs, and account performance dashboards
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and product teams to deliver customer solutions
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy
Requirements
Proven experience in a Commercial Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Business Development role
Strong background in B2B sales within manufacturing, industrial, or product-led environments
Demonstrated success in managing large strategic accounts and delivering revenue growth
Experience with commercial reporting, pricing, and margin management
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and performance data
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
Experience in sectors such as furniture, interiors, bedding, materials, construction, healthcare supply, or FMCG
Exposure to supply chain or production-led environments
Experience working with large-scale or multi-site customers
