Job Title: Contract HRIS Implementation Consultant (Focus on Rippling/HCM)6 month contractGalwayOnsite roleRole SummaryThe Contract HRIS Implementation Consultant is a highly specialized role engaged to drive the successful and timely implementation of a new HR Information System (HRIS), with a strong preference for rippling or another modern Human Capital Management (HCM) platform.The Consultant will be responsible for translating complex HR, Payroll, and Benefits business requirements into system configurations, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems and the optimal utilization of the new platform. This role requires immediate expertise and project execution focus.Key Contract Deliverables & ResponsibilitiesThe Consultant will be held accountable for the following high-priority deliverables, often on a Statement of Work (SOW) basis:Implementation & ConfigurationSystem Design & Mapping: Lead detailed workshops with HR and cross-functional teams to finalize HR process ("To-Be") design, translating them directly into the HRIS (e.g., Rippling) configuration.Configuration Build: Expertly configure the purchased modules within the HRIS (e.g., Core HR, Payroll setup, Benefits administration, Time & Attendance, Workflow automation).Data Migration: Manage the end-to-end data migration process, including mapping, cleansing, validating, and importing all critical employee and historical data from the legacy system to the new HRIS platform.Integrations: Design, build, test, and validate critical integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Finance/GL, Benefit Carriers, external payroll processors).Project Management & TestingProject Oversight: Manage a clear project plan, track milestones, identify critical path risks, and provide concise, data-driven status reports to the Steering Committee.Testing Execution: Develop comprehensive test scripts and lead all phases of system testing, including Functional Testing, End-to-End Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with key stakeholders.Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex functional and technical issues, working directly with the HRIS vendor's support team (e.g., Rippling Support) to drive timely resolution.Knowledge Transfer & Post-Go-Live SupportTraining and Documentation: Create targeted, comprehensive documentation and training materials for the internal HRIS Admin/Support team.Hypercare Support: Provide dedicated, high-intensity support for a defined period (e.g., 30-60 days) immediately following "Go-Live" to stabilize the new system and resolve immediate operational issues.Knowledge Transfer: Ensure all system knowledge, configuration decisions, and custom workflows are fully documented and transitioned to the permanent internal team before contract conclusion.Essential Skills and ExperienceDeep HR Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of critical HR functions, including statutory compliance, Payroll, Benefits, and Employee Lifecycle management.HRIS Expertise (Rippling Preferred): Proven track record of successfully implementing and configuring a modern, all-in-one HCM platform (e.g., Rippling, Workday, SuccessFactors, or equivalent SaaS HRIS).Data Management: Expert proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, mapping, and validation using tools like advanced Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL.Project Execution: Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations on time-critical implementation projects.Consulting & Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead meetings, present complex technical concepts clearly, and manage demanding client expectations.Desirable QualificationsProfessional certification in an HCM platform (e.g., Rippling Certification, Workday HCM Certification).Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or Agile Scrum Master).Experience in a start-up or fast-paced organizational environment.Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, SFTP) and troubleshooting data feeds
