About UsMoy Solar is a family-owned solar PV installation company based in Ballina, Co. Mayo. We provide reliable, high-quality solar PV systems to homes, businesses, and farms across the West and North West of Ireland. We pride ourselves on our West of Ireland roots and our ties to the local community.We use premium equipment, deliver outstanding craftsmanship, and stand over every installation we complete. As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone to help us manage the day-to-day administration and finances of the business.The RoleWe're looking for an Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 24 hours per week, or 3 days). This is a varied role that combines general office administration with bookkeeping and financial management responsibilities.You'll be working closely with our team to keep the business running smoothly, from managing accounts and invoices to handling SEAI grant paperwork and general admin tasks.LocationThis role is remote to begin with, with a strong likelihood of transitioning to office-based work in Ballina late 2026 onwards as we expand. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working remotely now but is happy to work from our Ballina office in the future.What You'll Be DoingFinancial & Bookkeeping:Managing accounts payable and accounts receivableProcessing invoices, payments, and receiptsBank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsPreparing financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsVAT preparation and liaising with our accountantPayroll administration supportAdministration:General office administration and correspondenceManaging SEAI grant paperwork and submissionsScheduling and coordination support for installation teamsMaintaining customer records and documentationSupporting the team with day-to-day tasks as neededWhat We're Looking ForRequirements:Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts administrationExperience with accounts payable and accounts receivableAbility to prepare and understand financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow)Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar)Strong Microsoft Office / Google Workspace skills, particularly Excel or SheetsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage your own workload remotelyComfortable using modern software tools and open to learning new systemsBased within commuting distance of Ballina, Co.
