Job Title: BMS Engineer
Reporting to: Energy Manager
Our Client, a leading provider of quality technical services, is seeking a BMS Engineer to join their team. As BMS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in upholding brand values and contributing to the strategic development plan.
Key Accountabilities:
* Delivering services efficiently and effectively
* Providing technical excellence and outstanding customer support
* Managing tasks and sites with a focus on customer requirements
* Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
* Efficient use of resources and contributing to team knowledge
* Building strong partnerships with clients in alignment with brand values
Main Duties:
Health & Safety:
* Promote and adhere to safety standards
* Report incidents promptly and ensure compliance with guidelines
* Conduct hazard analysis before commencing work
* Support in eliminating recurrence of accidents/incidents
Team Work - Engineering & Maintenance Duties:
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance according to quality standards
* Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs promptly
* Maintain high communication standards within the team and with customers
* Ensure profitable delivery of services by maximizing productivity, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects on time and within budget
Training & Development:
* Support apprentices/junior engineers and identify training requirements
* Take responsibility for self-development and skills upgrade
Customer Care:
* Deliver highest customer service standards
* Adhere to professional work systems for timely responses and cost-effective solutions
* Handle dissatisfied customers professionally and seek satisfactory solutions
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all customer and company matters
Reports & Administration:
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reports and paperwork
* Utilize Field Service Management System, Microsoft Teams Cloud, and other tools efficiently
Qualifications:
* 2/3 years' experience working on BMS systems essential
* Knowledge of control systems. IT and electronics
* Trade certification
* Understanding of HVAC systems essential
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement
* Full driving licence
