Job Overview:
Maintain group-wide environmental compliance to support sustainability and SHEQ initiatives.
* Maintain day-to-day environmental licence and permit compliance across Group operations.
* Complete scheduled environmental audits ensuring controls are implemented and documented effectively.
* Manage in-house and external sampling regimes for water safety.
* Support depot teams with preventive maintenance compliance checks.
* Oversee the waste contractor database ensuring all licences permits and authorisations are current.
* Complete quarterly and annual waste and packaging data returns.
* Manage ISCC audit requirements for waste oils.
* Review and issue permits to work for contractors.
* Assist with incident investigations and maintain accurate records.
As a key member of our team you will play a critical role in ensuring group-wide compliance with environmental legislation. You will support the wider sustainability and SHEQ agenda across the business working closely with depot teams and the Group H&S Manager.
