Key Role Summary
A proactive systems administrator is responsible for the effective management and maintenance of IT operations.
Job Responsibilities:
* Act as the go-to IT contact onsite in support of staff across all functions.
* Manage and resolve tickets covering 1st to 3rd line issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
* Handle user onboarding/offboarding across Ireland, the UK, and the US, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
* Maintain IT assets, hardware, and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Support key infrastructure projects, including migrating servers and email into Azure/O365, improving Intune policies and endpoint management, and driving the shift to a fully cloud-based environment.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in a sys admin or IT support role (Windows-focused), with a proven track record of success.
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows OS, with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
* Experience with Azure/O365 administration, including Entra ID, Intune, and other relevant tools and technologies.
* Confident troubleshooting across networks, hardware, and software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Great communication skills - approachable, reliable, and solutions-focused, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
