We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in North Tipperary CDNT, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week
Salary Scale: €57,771 - €68,385 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI). This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum.
Overview Of The Post
To provide a range of Physiotherapy services to children 0 - 18 years and their families who attend the Network Disability Team, within an interdisciplinary framework and family-centred practice. The post holder will be required to work across a range of settings including the clinic, preschool, schools and special preschools, children's homes and community settings.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of Physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18 years and their families within an interdisciplinary, family-centred framework.
* Support other staff and students as assigned; work across clinic, preschool, schools, special preschools, children’s homes and community settings.
Essential Criteria
* Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Have three years full-time (or an aggregate of three years full-time) post-qualification clinical experience.
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
* Maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register on appointment and confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Desirable Criteria
* 2 years' experience with children with disability.
* Experience of working within the PDS Framework.
* Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
* Experience of supervising students/therapy assistants/support staff.
* Experience of complex postural management.
