This company are a leading construction consultancy working across all sectors in the built environment. They are currently looking for a Director / Associate director to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of high-profile national and international projects for leading private and public sector clients.In this role, you'll be responsible for leading projects and teams of project managers through all stages, including design, planning, construction, commissioning, and handover. You'll lead the Project Management Team, coordinate and chair project meetings, and prepare all necessary deliverables like Project Management Plans and programs. A key aspect will be providing initial programme, project briefs, and cost advice to clients, managing contractor and consultant appointments, and ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality, programme, and budgets. You'll be client facing and visit active sites to monitor progress and compile clear, professional reports.To be successful, you'll need a degree in Construction, Engineering, Building Surveying, or Project Management with at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally on Civil Infrastructure projects. Strong technical knowledge of construction documentation, financials, and methodologies is essential, along with proven experience delivering and managing multiple projects concurrently. Experience with private and public sector clients, including public procurement processes, is desirable. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills are a must, along with the ability to manage staff, multitask, and work effectively under pressure.
