Job Position
This role involves relocation to a new location, where you will work with engineering teams to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, AMM supplements, and ATA chapters.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Create accurate and compliant documentation of mechanical systems, working closely with engineers to ensure that all technical content meets airworthiness requirements and internal guidelines.
2. Design supplementary materials, such as parts list tables and illustrations, to support the documentation.
3. Analyze and review engineering documentation to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
4. Maintain technical documentation libraries, ensuring that all revisions are properly tracked and up-to-date.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a technical writer in Aviation, with a focus on documenting AMM.
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application in aviation.
* Proficiency in using software tools, including FrameMaker, Illustrator, IsodrawCADprocess, Sketchup, AutoCAD, MS Office, XML, and Visual Basic.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with the German language is an asset.
