Ryanair is now hiring for a Newskies Help Desk Agent to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.

The role of a Newskies Help Desk Agent is to assist finance, ground operations, airports, call centers, and other departments to ensure the smooth running of Ryanair operations. This includes ensuring all policies and procedures are followed and providing feedback to airports, ground operations, and training teams. The Newskies Helpdesk offers telephone and email support for all Ryanair European Airports and Call Centers. This is a permanent position based at our head office in Swords, Co. Dublin.
The team works on a shift pattern of 4 days on/4 days off. The shift times are 6 am to 5 pm and 1 pm to Midnight.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
* Liaising with Ground Operations Training Department regarding airport issues.
* Notifying passengers of delays, cancellations, and schedule changes via email, SMS, PUSH notifications, and the Ryanair Day of Travel App.
* Updating web notices on Ryanair.com.
* Creating ad hoc disruption videos for the Day of Travel App.
* Creating and maintaining access to the reservations system.
* Liaising with the systems department regarding bugs and defects.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
* Experience in airline or airport operations is a plus.
* Flexible approach with the ability to remain diplomatic and tactful under pressure.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Proactive in handling errors and complaints.
* High level of interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Personality traits: enthusiasm, flexibility, patience, and initiative.
* Energetic and enthusiastic individual eager to grow within an expanding company.
* Flexibility with working hours is required.
