About the role
We are setting up a HR Services Hub in our Headquarters in Tralee, Co. Kerry to service our sites and businesses across Ireland, the UK and Northern Ireland. This Services Hub will provide comprehensive solutions for employees, managers and other business partners through HR technology and common processes.The employee population for this client group is in the region of 1600 ranging from the most senior executives in the business to manufacturing sites.The location for this role is hybrid based in Ireland or the UK, however the successful candidate must be free to travel to the sites when required. Working closely with senior stakeholders and your other HR colleagues, your focus will be to recruit for immediate/planned/project requirements, to build a strong talent pipeline for the business and to develop and promote the Employer Brand.This role will report to the Head of Learning, Leadership and Talent.
What will I be doing?Manage a diverse portfolio of vacancies, sourcing, headhunting, screening, assessing and advising.Adopt a hands-on role in the end-to-end recruitment cycle across both salaried and operative recruitment for a specific client group. You will be driving the definition of role requirements, identifying the most appropriate recruitment channels, screening/interviewing/assessing candidates and monitoring pipelines through to negotiation and candidate acceptance.Implement creative recruitment strategies to meet hiring demands across the business – using various recruitment methods as appropriate – job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals etcWork closely with the HR Team to assess internal talent, to review and assist with future talent moves, to participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions, to advise on offers and facilitate smooth pre-boarding of candidates.Build strategic relationships with your hiring managers and stakeholders, bringing updates, insight and market intelligence – communicate challenges/opportunities/ideas.Build strong, external, strategic relationships in order to promote KDI as an Employer of Choice – develop and maintain good working relationships with our preferred external partners/vendors.Maintain candidate and requisition data accurately on the Applicant Tracking System. Be responsible for accurate and timely reporting when required by the Executive Leadership Team.Report and measure the impact/return-on-investment of various activities including spent, agency usage, recruitment campaigns and various recruitment metrics,Work cross functionally to promote our Employer Brand.Assist with other ad hoc duties/projects on occasion.

In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a similar role and environment.These includeHR or related qualification or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 5 years dedicated experience with minimum 1 years' experience in an in-house Talent Acquisition capacity.Experience for recruiting for multiple countries.Must have competency based interviewing experience.Must be well organised and place an importance on delivering with urgency.Must display a passion for recruitment with an innovative, creative, collaborative attitude.Expert on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with SAP HRM.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
