MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with this large public sector organisation in their search for a HR Officer.
The role: Coordinate monthly transfer of information between HR and Payroll, prepare reports and follow up with queries.
Ensure employee records are updated, and documentation is issued to employees.
Support regular payroll reconciliation processes.
Assist in ensuring staff records are kept in accordance with data protection guidelines.
Provide advice and guidance to employees including annual leave entitlement, year end processes, family leave entitlements among other areas.
Attend disciplinaries, grievance and Dignity at Work meetings in a note taking capacity and compile records as required.
Assist with coordination and administration of recruitment processes.
Participate in interviews as required.
Assist in preparation and delivery of the induction programmes.
Management of Occupational Health referrals.
Assist in the implementation of staff Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Update and maintain HR records and systems.
The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential A relevant University Degree or professional qualification.
CIPD qualification or working towards (Level 3) Experience advising and working in a HR environment with administrative experience of HR payroll processing.
Desirable Previous experience using HR Information Systems and E-recruitment portals.
CIPD Level 5.
