At the Keadeen Hotel, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences. We are now seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our Front of House team.
As a Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk and providing outstanding customer service to every guest. From handling check‑ins and reservations to assisting with guest enquiries, you will play a key role in making each stay seamless and enjoyable.
Duties
* Warmly greet and check in/out guests, ensuring all details are accurate.
* Manage phone and email enquiries, reservations, and switchboard calls.
* Handle payments, balance reception cash, and manage foreign exchange.
* Anticipate guest needs, resolve queries, and promote hotel facilities.
* Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to health & safety procedures.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced with hotel property management systems such as HotSoft or a similar PMS.
* An excellent communicator with great attention to detail.
* Computer literate and confident with reservation systems (training provided as needed).
* A team player who is organized, trustworthy, and flexible.
* Able to work on their own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
* Varied shift pattern including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays on a rota basis.
* Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our guests.
