They are now looking to hire a newly qualified practice accountant to join their team and take ownership of a varied client portfolio while also playing a key role in developing people, processes and service standards. This is a hands on role with genuine scope to make an impact. You will work closely with clients, support junior team members and contribute to the ongoing evolution of how the practice operates. The roleIn this position, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of high quality accounting services across a broad client base. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements in line with current accounting standardsPreparing and reviewing management accounts for clientsPreparing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax, VAT and other relevant returnsActing as a technical and professional support to junior accountants through training, mentoring and review workKeeping up to date with changes in tax, accounting and regulatory requirements and sharing this knowledge within the teamIdentifying opportunities to improve internal processes, systems and ways of working to enhance efficiency and client serviceQualifications and experience Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalentPrevious experience working within an Irish accountancy practiceStrong working knowledge of Irish tax, accounting standards and compliance requirementsTechnical skills Experience using practice and cloud accounting systems such as Xero and Bright Accounts ProductionConfident user of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookComfortable working with modern digital tools and CRM systemsProfessional attributes Strong analytical and problem solving capabilityHigh attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsClear, professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectivelyHigh standards of professionalism, integrity and presentationHybrid role: 2WFH 3 in Office and early finish Friday.Salary: 55K - 65K DOE + Bonus + Pension + Parking onsite
