The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Children's Residential Respite Centre is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and their families.
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day clinical management of the centre, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations, and a nurturing environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the delivery of care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
* Supervise and support a team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
* Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and other regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement individual Short Breaks Passports / Support plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Monitor clinical practices and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
* A registered nursing qualification and active NMBI registration.
* A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience, preferably in disability, residential, or respite care.
* A good working knowledge of HIQA standards and other relevant legislation.
* Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
