Lead Catering Assistant
, you'll take a key role within a dynamic, fast-paced catering team, helping to drive excellence in service while supporting and guiding colleagues on a day-to-day basis.
You'll contribute to a positive, friendly work environment and act as a role model for best practice at all times.
This is a full-time role, working
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities
Leading by example in preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
Supporting the day-to-day supervision of the catering team, ensuring standards are consistently met
Creating eye-catching food and counter displays that enhance the customer experience
Assisting with onboarding, training, and coaching team members
Proudly representing Compass Group Ireland and embodying our positive brand image
Ensuring smooth service by overseeing transactions and supporting efficient use of the till system
Maintaining the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene across the operation
Supporting stock control, deliveries, and minimising waste
Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all Health & Safety regulations
Liaising with the Catering Manager and stepping up in their absence when required

Show excellent time management, reliability, and organisational skills

Have previous experience in a catering role; supervisory or team-lead experience is desirable but not essential
Have the enthusiasm and commitment to help others succeed
