Office based in HQ Thomastown, Co. KilkennyFull-time, Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm (flexibility for a shorter week may be considered)Job ObjectivesWe are seeking a reliable and organised Office & Accounts Administrator to provide maternity cover for a period of 9–12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative, financial, and operational duties to ensure the smooth running of their office and support to their field-based teams.You contribute to the service delivery to our teams ensuring consistent and accurate data entry, working as part of a team and closely with colleagues throughout Head Office, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will assist with administrative tasks and reporting.This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:To accept responsibility for specific areas, as specified by the Director of Finance, to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.To ensure all accounting deadlines are met and that all reports are complete and accurate.Preparing Accounts for external auditorsDealing with Creditor QueriesPetty cash management, data entry and full reconciliationsTo attend meetings as and when necessary and to provide management information as requested by the Directors.Handling other general administrative tasks as neededAbout The RoleSkills:Excellent communication skills.Proficient in written communication and numeracy skills.Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills.Administrative experience.Proficient in IT Skills: MS OfficeIND #HPRequired CriteriaSkills NeededAbout The CompanyFounded in the early 2000s, Daffodil Care Group has established a strong reputation across Ireland through its specialised services delivered via Daffodil Care Services, Misty Croft, and ARCS.
