Overview
Senior Data Software Engineer to join a financial services client on a day rate contract (12 months).
This role is a contractual position with a lucrative daily rate.
What You Bring to the Table
* 5+ years of professional experience in software design and development
* Advanced hands-on expertise with Snowflake and Oracle databases
* Solid foundation in Java-based object-oriented programming
* Practical experience working with Apache Spark (using Java or Scala), ideally within AWS EMR environments
* Strong familiarity with AWS
* Demonstrated ability to architect and build scalable, reliable ETL pipelines
* Background in DevOps workflows and tools like Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Docker, with experience in CI/CD automation
