About Your New Role
As a Construction Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the pre‑construction and tendering process, ensuring accurate cost estimates and competitive submissions for major building projects.
Responsibilities
Preparing detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
Conducting take‑offs, material pricing, and subcontractor analysis.
Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and requirements.
Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost‑saving strategies.
Managing multiple tenders simultaneously to tight deadlines.
What You Need
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an Estimating role, ideally with a main contractor.
Strong knowledge of Irish construction costs, tendering procedures, and market rates.
Proficiency in estimating software (such as Buildsoft or Cubit) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and keen attention to detail.
What You Will Get
