Clinical Nurse Manager Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing change, with a particular focus on HIQA standards.
About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Manager will play a key role in maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. They will be responsible for coordinating daily resident hand-over, ensuring excellent communication between all staff caring for residents.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Lead and implement change with reference to HIQA standards
2. Display leadership, innovation, and creativity through work with staff and residents
3. Carry out audits of nursing care services including medication management
4. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care needed by residents
5. Support supervision of nursing staff including orientation of new staff
The clinical nurse manager must have 2 years experience in nursing homes in Ireland or similar environments managing 5 years minimum as a senior health professional.
