Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our warehousing and inventory operations at a busy manufacturing site.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials and components are in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity, to support efficient production and customer satisfaction.
* Lead and develop the warehouse team through the Warehouse Team Leader.
* Establish standardized work routines and enforce compliance.
* Develop and maintain training programs to support upskilling and efficiency.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and customer demand. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Manage and improve inventory control systems, ideally using ERP platforms (e.g. SAP). Coordinate closely with suppliers and logistics providers to manage incoming stock.
Streamline inventory and warehouse processes to drive cost reduction and productivity. Support lean initiatives and implement continuous improvement projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and implementing process improvements. They should have a solid understanding of inventory management principles and be proficient in using ERP systems.
